Our untreated and GMO-free organic Tuscan Black Kale seeds are a superb choice for nutrient-rich microgreens or sprouts. Also known as Lacinato Kale or Dinosaur Kale, this Italian variety is well-loved for its deep green colour, upright growth, and rich, earthy flavour.
Tuscan Kale microgreens produce slender stems with dark green, slightly crinkled leaves and a mild yet savoury taste. They're ideal for adding depth to salads, sandwiches, bowls, or even blending into smoothies. These microgreens are easy to grow, reliable, and a beautiful addition to any tray with their striking leaf texture and uniform growth.

Growing Information
For Sprouting (in a jar or sprouter):
Soaking time: 4–6 hours
Dark period: 2 days
Rinse & drain: Twice daily
Sprouting time: 2–4 days
Time to harvest: 3–6 days, when shoots are green and crisp
Tip: Rinse gently and keep in a cool, well-ventilated space
For Microgreens (in soil, coir, or on a grow mat):
Soaking time: Not necessary
Sow density: Spread evenly and press gently into moist growing medium
Blackout time: 1–2 days
Time to germination: 2–4 days
Light: Move to indirect sunlight or under grow lights after sprouting
Watering: Mist daily or water from below to prevent mould
Time to harvest: 7–12 days, depending on preferred leaf size
Best grown in shallow trays with consistent moisture and airflow

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
