Organically Produced Seed

Organic Tiny Seeded Sunflower Microgreen & Sprouting Seeds – Black Oil Type

Our organic tiny seeded sunflower variety is ideal for microgreen growers looking for maximum yield with minimal waste. These small but mighty seeds produce deliciously crisp, nutty shoots with tender leaves and thinner hulls, making them easier to grow, handle, and harvest than standard black oil sunflowers.

Despite their smaller size, the crops are just as substantial, offering the same rich nutritional benefits with the added bonus of easier dehulling. Perfect for anyone wanting a cleaner grow and less mess. These shoots are an excellent plant-based source of protein, omega fatty acids, and vital minerals, all while delivering a vibrant, fresh flavour.

These certified organic, non-GMO seeds are pathogen-tested and packaged in compostable, resealable, and plastic-free pouches. For best results, we recommend growing in compost or coco coir rather than mats.

Tiny seeded sunflowers are also a great outdoor option—plant a few in a sunny spot to enjoy their cheerful blooms and later provide a nutritious food source for wild birds in the colder months.
