Bloody Mary Grow Kit
Bloody Mary Grow Kit
Our Bloody Mary Growing Kit is a great way to treat yourself or a loved one, to start hassle free growing for those who may also like a tipple every now and then. The kit contains untreated, non-GMO seeds that have all be carefully selected for the UK’s climate, exceptional taste and ease of growth. These include a few varieties of tomatoes for your base, lemon balm for some tang, and chilli for a bit of heat; with all these you will be well on your way to creating your perfect Bloody Mary in no time!
We have selected what we believe are our best varieties of tomatoes to create the base juice for your cocktail. Additionally, we chose the Habanero chilli as it is mostly grown in Yucatan on the South-East peninsular of Mexico, very close to the Tabasco state where the chilli that flavours the spicy Tabasco sauce that is in a traditional Bloody Mary is from to try and keep the taste as authentic as possible.
The kit also includes the pots, coco disk, labels, simple step by step instructions and recipe to help make it accessible for everyone, from beginners to green-fingered gardeners. This is all wrapped up in plastic free packaging making it a perfect eco-gift.
Our Bloody Mary Growing Kits include:
- 5x varieties of seed (subject to change)
- 6x 8.5cm biodegradable coco pots
- 8x 5.6cm biodegradable coco pots
- 6x 6.5cm coco soil disks

Your seed varieties
Tomato Seeds - St Pierre
The St Pierre Tomato is a fantastic traditional French heirloom variety. This delicious beefsteak tomato matures late into a great crop of tasty red fruits which are ideal for slicing into salads and sandwiches or whizzing up into a juice. It has a great resistance to disease hence is still popular after 100 years.
Tomato Seeds - Gartenperle
Our new favourite. The tomato gartenperle, is an excellent extra early heirloom variety from Germany. It’s ideal for small space growing and requires no training or pruning of side shoots whilst producing cascades of delicious cherry sized tomatoes all summer long. This no fuss, high yielding tomato plant is very hard to fault and we highly recommend you grow it this season!
Tomato Seeds - Tigerella
Tigerella tomatoes are excellent for colder climates. They are also stunning fruits, striped as their name suggests. They add interest and beauty that is unrivalled by their monotone cousins. Tomato Tigerella sets its dramatic fruit early, usually sized between 60 and 120 grams and has a sweet flavour and superior texture, making this a highly regarded heirloom. Easy to grow in our climate, Tigerella tomatoes will make you smile.
Microgreen Seeds - Lemon Balm
With beautiful lime green stems and leaves with a pale purple underneath these zesty microgreens are perfect to start growing at home to include as a garnish and/or mixed into dishes and drinks. They are jammed packed with nutrient goodness including vitamins A, B complex, D, and E, Calcium, Iron, Potassium and Phosphorus which all work to help relieve headaches and tension. With all these amazing qualities going alongside its sweet, lemony flavour, I think the only question is why are you not growing them already?!
Chilli Seeds - Habanero
The easiest and most prolific of the Habaneros to grow, Organic Habanero Orange pepper plants are visually stunning and produce bountiful crops of smallish (2.4 x 4cm) wrinkled fruits of exceptional heat and flavour. Habaneros have a distinctive, fruity flavour and are excellent in the kitchen. “Enjoy” them raw, or include them in any spicy dish for an authentic kick. For the same exceptional flavour but with reduced heat, skewer the pepper before adding it to your sauce and remove the whole pepper once you reach the desired level of spiciness.
Biodegradable Pots
Our thin-wall Coco Coir Pots are 100% biodegradable and are designed to be planted in a prepared hole in the garden where the roots will grow freely through the wall in the direction nature intended. Seedlings also benefit from the nutrient boost and the addition of organic matter from the decomposing coir pot. No mess, no fuss, less work and most importantly no transplant shock or growth check. Unlike peat pots, our Coco Coir Pots are 100% sustainable. They are not as susceptible to mould and will resist turning into a soggy mess before planting time which are attributes of the paper pulp variety. Our products and packaging are supplied plastic-free.
Coco Coir Discs
Our Coco Discs and Coco Bricks are a mixture of a corky cellular material and short fibres. Millions of tiny natural sponges which closely resemble peat moss have been simply dried and compressed, making life easier and shipping cheaper. Add water and they expand back to their original size. Simple, transportable and an incredibly good environment for the root zone.
