Grow Sow Greener’s 650g compressed coco coir brick offers a clean, sustainable, and high-performance growing medium for a wide range of horticultural uses, from seed starting and potting to microgreens and soil conditioning. Made from 100% natural coconut husk fibre, this brick is triple-washed to ensure a low EC (electrical conductivity) and a fine, uniform tilth—ideal for sensitive plants and seedlings.
When hydrated, this compact brick expands to yield approximately 7–8 litres of soft, fibrous substrate that retains moisture beautifully while allowing excellent airflow and drainage. It’s perfect used on its own or blended with compost, perlite, or other amendments to create a custom, peat-free growing mix.
Whether you're growing indoors or outdoors, in trays, containers, or raised beds, this coir brick is a reliable, mess-free and eco-friendly alternative to peat and synthetic grow media.
How to Use
Place brick in a container
Add warm water gradually (approx. 3–4 litres)
Allow to expand and break apart evenly
Mix or use directly for planting
Store unused hydrated coir in a sealed container or bag

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
