Grow Sow Greener’s Coco Coir Microgreen Mats offer a clean, efficient, and sustainable way to grow fresh microgreens, cress, and cut-and-come-again salads all year round. Perfect for home growers, these mats make indoor cultivation simple and soil-free.
Made from 100% natural coconut fibre with no latex, glues, or binders, each mat is lightly woven to allow excellent root penetration, oxygenation, and water retention. Simply lay flat in a tray, moisten, scatter your seeds, and enjoy your first harvest in as little as 7–14 days.
Each mat measures 38 x 25 cm and is easy to cut to size with standard kitchen scissors. At 10 mm thick, these mats are far more substantial than typical 800gsm options and will support nearly all microgreen varieties. For tougher crops like peas, beets, or sunflowers, we recommend coco coir soil instead.
Coco fibre naturally provides plant-available potassium (K₂O, 174 mg/l), giving young plants a healthy boost with no need for chemical additives. These mats are fully biodegradable, compostable, and packaged in 100% plastic-free, recyclable materials.

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
