Our untreated, GMO-free organic garlic chive seeds are a unique and aromatic addition to any microgreen grower’s collection. These flavourful greens bring a subtle garlic-onion taste and an elegant upright form, making them a favourite for garnishes, savoury dishes, and high-end plating.
Garlic chives are slower to germinate than most microgreens but well worth the wait. They produce long, slender, grass-like shoots with a mild garlic aroma and flavour that pairs beautifully with eggs, noodles, rice, dumplings, and soups. Their fine texture and strong flavour make them ideal for adding a punch of character to dishes without overpowering.
These seeds are certified organic, lab-tested for pathogens, and packed in compostable, resealable, and plastic-free pouches—supporting sustainable and zero-waste growing practices.

Growing Information
For Microgreens (in soil, coir, or on a grow mat):
Soaking time: Not necessary
Sow density: Spread evenly and press firmly into moist growing medium
Blackout time: 4–5 days
Time to germination: 6–10 days
Light: Move to indirect sunlight or grow lights after germination
Watering: Mist daily or water from below to maintain moisture
Time to harvest: 18–25 days, when shoots are tall and aromatic
Best grown in deeper trays with good drainage and airflow
Note: Garlic chives are not typically used for sprouting due to their long germination time and grass-like form. Recommended exclusively for microgreens.

Delivery and Packaging
All products are packaged plastic free as standard. Your garden seeds are sealed for freshness inside white glassine envelopes which are a water/vapour resistant compostable paper product whilst your Microgreen and Sprouting Seeds arrive in resealable zip lock pouches made from GMO free vegetable starch which are further heat sealed to ensure these great products reach you safely!

We hope you are loving your purchase however we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned and returns and refunds are necessary. Please refer to the following return and refund policies at growsowgreener.co.uk.
My product is damaged defective or you shipped me the wrong product.
We're sorry about that and understand your frustration! We would love to offer you a refund or a replacement. Please contact us at hi@growsowgreener.co.uk within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
I ordered the wrong product or simply changed my mind.
No worries, we will refund you the full amount (minus the shipping charges) provided the items are returned in new condition and in original packaging. Once received we will issue your refund however you will be responsible for return shipping costs for non defective products.
